The song was written by Unlucky Morpheus, with lyrics by Fuki, but is was 1st sang by a V-Tuber called Towa, with UM as the band and Fuki doing backing vocals. Nissin also sponsored a few UM concerts. Nissin make noodles, and one line is called U.F.O. and they were put together to make a song for the event. And yes you've just seen a Japanese advert for noodles. I take it by big 3 you mean Babymetal, Nemophila, and Lovebites? did you know that UM have more subscribers than Lovebites, on youtube, by about 40K. And that is for a band that has only ever played outside Japan once. A thing that tends to put some people off UM is Fuki's singing, they do not like the vibrato she does.

The song is about the Finnish winter war (Talvisota means winter war in Finnish) when the Russians attacked Finland. "Motti tactics" = "Motti is Finnish military slang for a totally encircled enemy unit. The tactic of encircling is called motitus, literally meaning the formation of an isolated block or "motti", but in effect meaning an entrapment or envelopment." You can find it on Wikipedia.

Talvisota is the Finnish for "Winter War" - one of the three wars that Finland fought against the Soviet Union. They are unique in retaining their independence yet fighting three wars with the Soviets. I worked in Finland in the early 2000s and learnt the language which is fun! Only fourteen cases for nouns and very little help from other languages with their vocabulary. So going in I had a different expectation that it would be from a Finnish perspective as the Soviet Union in a pact with Hitler at the time was not an ally.
