This was all about the media, in particular how so many people spend so much time on their cell phones! The end part is about their awakening to the fact that they no longer were communicating to each other. Bearing in mind their age when this was conceived it’s nothing short of remarkable, the album was more or less 2 years in the making so a lot of it would be written in their early teens. This is a great album but Queen of the murder scene, the next one is a concept album which must be watched and listened to in sequence to really appreciate it. There’s more good tracks on this album, Black holes and Shattered heart are 2 of my best favourites

I am reminded of this video when my brother takes me and my son for a nice ride out of the city. I just love looking at the sights passing by. I look at my son and he is focused on his phone. I tell him to look outside and enjoy the view. He replies: “Boring!” Sitting on a bench waiting for a bus to take me and my son home after school, he was laughing while texting. I asked him who he was texting. He replied, “My friend at school. He’s over there.” He pointed to the boy sitting on the other end of the bench. I exclaimed, “OMG! The Warning was right!” My son texted his friend, “I knew he was going to say that.” They both laughed and continued texting.

The Warning nos une.

Such a great song. It has some real classic rock vibes but as usual, I can't pinpoint specifically anything it sounds like. As for Pau's drumming style, it's always mentioned that she is more economical now and doesn't break as many sticks, but that early style with the high raised arms is an actual style that has a name (which i can't remember). Andrew Rooney, a pro drumming teacher and contributing writer to Modern Drummer magazine has mentioned it before. He loves Pau, by the way, and has reacted to TW a number of times.

I subscribe to Mr Rooney's channel - I enjoy him quite a bit. It just makes me smile to watch Pau smash on that crash cymbal. The first time I saw her in full action was during that TED talk video. She keeps her elbow bent but just wails on it! Always fun to watch!

If you haven't yet, you should check out their videos for the song "Hunter". There is a live video from the "Teatro" concert and an acoustic version with Dany with an Ovation guitar, Ale on an acoustic bass, and Pau (standing) while using an electronic drum pad. There is a live video with Ale singing, but it's poor quality (probably from a fan in the audience). You say they are prone to "dark" lyrics - the lyrics for "Hunter" are down right scary! Song is originally from the "Queen of the Murder Scene" album.

One song that is truly mind blowing is Martirio (Martyrdom), and I highly recommend checking it out. The official video was hell for them due to the temps, and the costumes. The live version can hit like a ton of bricks too. It's sung in their native language and though I don't fluently speak Spanish I still get tears welling up. Dany's voice is from another world. The Warning's music is pure ear candy! Pau has a gorgeous song called Breathe (bonus track on Error) and it is a tear jerker. Just her and her piano. You need to watch the first time she ever performed it, because it is truly priceless. It wasn't even a song she wanted to perform and probably not include on the record because it was so personal. 23 is another gem with heart wrenching lyrics (one of many Pau sings lead on). The Warning will be bigger than Metallica and Iron Maiden. While touring is not what it once was back when i was growing up, and MTV is a dead network, The Warning Army is global and very passionate about the band. They have 3 albums, 3 EPs, toured with the biggest names in rock (including their idols, Muse), they are younger than those bands were when they started (Dany turned 24 Jan 30, Pau just turned 21 Feb 5, and Ale turned 19 Dec 13.), and are the most hungry I've ever seen in a band. They are nearing legendary status just due to these simple factors. It's incredible. Welcome to The Warning family!⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘

I always kind of figured her "animal style" came from her being so young - and small - when she started. It was precisely that: hammering away with "big" motion was the only way she could get the proper sound out of her drums!! Even when she grew up a bit and was more easily able to make the hits, her old habits from when she was seven years old stuck with her until fairly recently when she started consciously developing more efficient refinement.

I see new reactors focusing on the Metropolitan live show. TWA always recommend the show because it so incredible but the magic of these Rock Stars is how good they were from a very young age. The covers they play are down right nuts at 14,12,& 9 years old. When they started writing their own songs the began their rise to today. Jump around a little. Check out their Foo Fighters covers. My favorite show before the Metropolitan is live at the Dakota bar. Top quality rock songs one after another and no bad or mediocre fillers. There are also some great songs from their Whiskey A Go Go gigs. And what I consider a true masterpiece is their Queen of the Murder scene concept album live at Lanario. There is just so much top quality music from TW. Enjoy the ride. 🤘🔥

Only will a solo be in a song if it is needed. Dany can shred, but, again, only if it will make the song better. Beginning of the video...unused skateboard, bike laying on the pavement, two boys on smart phones wearing blindfolds that only let them see what social media wants them to see. Man in car taking blindfold off alerts thugs to come and get him(notice he is gaged to keep him silent. Girl on swing with phone, Mother on phone not watching her, Both are blindfolded. Couple sitting at table wearing blindfolds, texting each other, not speaking to each other. Babies blindfolded and placed in indoctrination chambers. The man on the roof sees how they are being manipulated and steps off the roof as a 'leap of faith'. Hits the ground and starts a rebellion. Or maybe not.

@elgonwilliams76249 ай бұрын
Dany limits her solos to whatever is best for the song. They do not upstage one another, so any solos are limited to whatever was designed for the song. If they song doesn't have a solo, it didn't need one. I love solos, as a rule, but I believe in the 80s and 90s it seemed like everyone in the band had to take a solo for god knows what reason other than padding their egos. This lead to Rock becoming more repetitious and boring to the masses and resulted in the decline of its appeal (not that hip hop and pop music isn't repetitive, too). I find it a refreshing quality that TW supports one another on and off stage and they carefully design their music to be the best presentation of their ideas and music.
