I wouldn't say Pau is better than Pedder but as a former jazz studio musician I would say she 1. Is more versatile and 2. She doesn't have the showmanship that Carpenter had but I'd put her alongside Phil Collins with her simultaneous vocals skill, where her showmanship really comes through. When Dany belts: "It's Not Fair!" I was thinking, absolutely right! "It's Not Fair!" that Dany is such an incredible and creative vocalist that everything she sings is better. "It's Not Fair!" Dany doing a cover of "You Oughta Know!!" that is this remarkable. What makes Dany so remarkable extends far beyond her incredible technique, gorgeous vocal timbre, and amazing range; it's her intention and reinterpretation as she inhabits songs that is breathtaking. The anger, intensity, and sense of betrayal are so much more palpable when Dany sings this song. If Dany keeps this up people will see her as being in the same class as the great Floor Jansen and become deeply concerned every time Dany wants to do a cover of one their songs.

Definitely the most visible (audible) gain for the Warning has been how much Dany has grown into her role and become a true elite-tier lead vocal and solid axe. They've all had great gains, but it's a lot harder to hide when you're up front. And that's not to take anything away from her inherent skill-she's just as gifted as her sisters intuitively. But molding two instruments (voice/guitar) together so they can be played live while making it work for the band, while still on the learning curve and steadily increasing the level and frequency of touring, is no mean feat. It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll. Some dude said that. Yeah, I know.

So I flip on SiriusXM Friday morning and the first thing I hear is the Warning unleashing this masterpiece. I felt like I did when I was 6 years old on Christmas morning!

My goodness! I didn’t expect that. It’s hyperbole, I know, but this is genuinely better than the original. How good is it to hear that smoky jazz bass underpinning such a powerful vocal performance. If The Warning hadn’t arrived yet, I think this is the sound of an incoming steam train.

Soy fan de Alanis Morriset. Dani se adueñó descaradamente de la canción de una forma espléndida. Qué bien está cada una en su instrumento.

These sisters are amazing and this cover is spot on. As young as they are they sound like seasoned veterans. Vocals sound just like Alanis and the bass playing is phenomenal. "The Warning" has a great future.

This band deserves to be a household name by now. They have talent, charisma, and some great songs. And they nail their covers.

A long lloooonngg time ago, YT recommended their original Enter Sandman cover and I listened to it. They were just little kids playing in their house. The bass was bigger than Ale and it gave me a chuckle. Years later they grew into full blown rock stars. Also, their remake (not the cover) of enter sandman is arguably better than the original.

The way these girls perform is amazing. All three of them smashed this one outta the park. Just shows how strong they're becoming as they grow and perform. Wow. Just, Wow. Loved the subtle word changes making the song lyricly warmer, and more appealing.

Maybe an extra comment to Pau. She drums so much "out of the core", perfect body control, allows variety and an enormous amount of strength. Straight upper body all time, no wasted movement. Arms free. Head and voice work kind of independent. - You hardly ever see this full body control with drummers. What a deep knowledge how to relate to and communicate with this difficult instrument.

As a person who has been playing drums since childhood but who switched to bass because it is much more comfortable and simpler, I really respect those few female drummers.

@@tpro7224 small correction. Taylor did tour for a bit with Alanis, but Matt Laug is on the record sleeve on drums. He's a great drummer in his own right. Back to the main subject - these girls are the best of the best.
