THE WARRIOR ARCHETYPE, Part 2 : When the SHADOW WARRIOR CONSUMES YOUR SPIRIT...
💠 As we develop the Warrior Archetype, we develop traits like courage, discernment, and unconquerable spirit, etc.
💠 However, if we are not careful along our path as warriors, we risk developing its Shadow Poles, the sadistic and masochistic ones.
💠 The consequences of the shadow warrior can result devastating for our psychological health and the surrounding people.
💠 When warrior energy is in shadow in on the inflated side, then we tend to expand our territory in an unbalanced way.
💠 For this reason, this video shows how someone strays from the balanced path as a warrior and feeds its shadow poles.
💠 It also shows what are the characteristics of the Shadow Warrior are, and more importantly, what one can do to return on track and gain balance, before it’s too late.

i’ve always felt this warrior calling since i was 5. now i’m 19. i just enlisted into the infantry and am shipping out in a month. religion is my foundation and that will keep me from falling into my shadow side

Sadly, I experienced a relatioship with a Warrior guy, who was in his Saddist form. Very muscular, great athlete, passionate, but a real pain in the *** to live along. He was very cold at best, became upset and angry everytime I was around, thought I made many tries to become friend with him. His girlfriend taught me he had a very difficult relatioship with almost everyone (including her, sometimes), because he always needed to be the best in every way possible, so he couldn't have friends, he could just have equals, or inferiors. He was harsh on me because at that time, I had weight problems, and it may have trigger old and bad memories for him.

Thank you for sharing your experience Florian. I hope this person decides to work on this, ideally with a therapist. Having met persons with similar behavior myself ( and even experiencing times when I slipped into the shadow poles), I can tell that therapy with a psychologist would help a lot alog with inner work with ourselves. But most imporantly, we can’t help someone who is not willing to change by himself first, that’s a sad truth.

I listened to the book, but listening to just the section about the warrior... I recognize that I'm the masochist immature warrior... I'll tolerate abuse until I finally snap and lash out... Lost an otherwise good job because of that. I view everyone else as more capable and superior to me. I... Now I just need to understand how to mature.
