Awesome documentary! My only criticism is that the usage of "Jaguar warriors" becomes very overwhelming and could use some type of variety in how the sentences are structured at times.

The jaguar warriors were not pesents, they were nobles warriors , also there goal wasnt to capture there enemy, it was harder for them to capture there foes during there battles. So not every battle did they capture people for sacrifices
@nameless5r
@nameless5r 3 ай бұрын
Going into the military was pretty much the only way for the lower class to advance so yes, some of them(i don't know the percentage) were "peasants." And the goal was to capture enemies alive because that was how they could advance in rank. They just didn't catch them every single time. And the goal was to catch them alive by not necessarily in one piece so they would often maim them.

@@dirkauditore8413 because they didn’t have to they had a lot of hatred towards each other also fun fact the triple alliance was imploding with revolts from every tribute town and their subjects because they were getting greedy had it not been for the Spanish the triple alliance was gonna fall to the Purepecha eventually because they didn’t have diplomatic relations like the Purepecha the reason why tenoctitlan fell to the Spanish is because they let everything come in as in import and had no exports while the Purepecha was trading their goods with others and received goods from others they let things flow in and out as opposed to the triple alliance who just let things flow in which messed them up in the long run
