There are things to fight for and possibly put your life on the line for. Ego is definitely not one of them. Like you said some of these fools have nothing to loose and have no problems bringing someone else down with them. Letting things go and moving on while beings coaxed is a very powerful move.

One aspect of the Warrior Mind state is how you perceive death. A warrior is willing to engage in any confrontation even if death might be the outcome for either party. That acceptance of death as a possibility is where all the power comes from. Thats why I try to apply that primitive warrior aspect to other areas in my life in a controlled fashion when possible. People can tell when somebody ready to die bout this shit at any moment and will go to lengths to prevent that from happening.

In my youth I was always ready to pull the sword and go to battle. Intelligence comes with age and experience. A KING knows there are more options and strategies he can use before war. When all else fails there is war. 1. Diplomacy. can this situation be diffused. 2. Negotiating. Can you create a ally by joining forces. 3.Diversion can you get out of the situation without loss or pain. 4 War. The last option but always be prepared to do battle. Protect the women and children and be willing to kill if necessary. If you choose to spare him, know that this enemy can come back to Finish this some day. If you will see him in the future, a fatality can save you and your family’s life.

The warrior mindset is what will uplift society. It corrects behavior, has principles and demands respect of the user, as well as the surrounding environment. People who can’t deal get away from that warrior as fast as they can.

Excellent uncle Rom. Warrior mindset encompasses everything from attitude to peace, mutual respect, risk, challenges, duty, competition and dignity. For example I dont believe in reparations or any similar special case pleading. My father uncles or grandfather would slap the black off us...White men achieved what they achieved how they achieve it. Salute to them. In my clan we dont beg or dishonour ourselves sound and acting like losers talking about what we are owed because nobody dont owe you shit. Winner takes all and the white man won that engagement, but we will be back and you will be seeing us again...We simply demand you leave us alone because if you dont you will meet force and men with guns..and other weapons..That's how we became successful economically etc. I heard Tariq Nasheed talk about how fearless blacks in the UK are and that he is talking largely about the British Caribbean community. Our people were not slaves long..Approximately 100 years and in my father's people case not even 20 and we fought and defeated our enemies and made them run. So many of us maintain our warrior/masculine mindset in ways I dont see i the mass of black American men. Small number..But far too few. Warrior mindset cannot exist in matriarchal conditions. Like women threatening men or threatening to call the police or their family..Try me..Thugs are not warriors..They are into the performance arts..Entertaining. Trying to convince themselves and others..

the willingness to engage. and if need be to get physical. but if you come with that minset look them dead in the eye and use your words with that warrior energy it can be enough to get the point across. as your two stories shown. i have been in a few fights / scruffles and most ppl are stronger than they know you can take a punch. even after i had a black eye i was alive. i was able to be present. but that first thought about what if this or that happens can happen. but don't let that thought stop you.

Makes me recall a story of a guy by the name of Jimmy H Woo, a kung fu sifu who brought tsoi li ho fut hung to America. While the guy was driving, he accidentally cut off a truck driver. The truck driver was pissed and started yelling at Jimmy demanding he pull over. Jimmy complied. The truck driver got out of his car only to be met with Jimmy Woo giving him an evil look that "froze his heart" and stopped the driver in his tracks...Jimmy said to the driver:"It's a shame you die today." Long story short, the truck driver got back in his truck and drove off because he didn't want that smoke.
