Same with SKX009J1 for me. I still miss that watch so much. It was just so beautiful.

I sold my grandfather's Omega when I was struggling financially. It was an heirloom piece that my dad had and after his death the watch came to me. I wasn't into watches at the time and just looked at the monetary value. I don't have many regrets in life but that it one of them. It felt like I betrayed them both.

The Seiko SNKK45. Bought it for $50 new. Got discontinued. Now it’s minimum 500 and you can’t buy it anywhere.

I can understand the regret. I bought an Orient JDM that I sold, not realizing it had been discontinued and now can't find one. I've another very nice one, also discontinued and I'm not going to make the same mistake! I actually just picked up the Mission Impossible Casio DW-290 with the electro luminescent display which apparently Casio will no longer be making. An iconic watch you can still get for around $40. I didn't have your particular watch, I'm happy enough with the standard version I have.
