@@gysgijsbers4202 Wow! Deflection is REAL! We're NOT talking about the history of the WORLD we are talking about the history of South Africa & the WORLD was able to see the horrific activities that were actually occurring there & able to document them as they occurred. So when I say it's important that South Africans as a whole NEVER FORGET what occurred there I mean it in the SAME way that those who practice Judaism say it in reference to what in happened in Germany.. You teach this history to EVERY GENERATION so that it NEVER occurs again because history repeats itself with those who are afraid to face their history.

The state employers (of which more than 90% are black) are well paid and have many benefits (their children are not underprivileged). There has not been 400 years of oppression, whites only crossed the Orange River in 1835 (only 160 years before 1994) onwards. King Shaka was still ruling KwaZulu before that. King Moshoeshoe was ruling Lesotho. Johannesburg is only 136 years old. BEE has made many black people wealthy too. Many whites are poorer than you think and possess no land either.

Let me get this straight..... So because of my skin color (that I didn't ask for), because of a system (I never voted for or agreed to) and because of a land issue (I have bever owned any property/land and neither did my parents or grandparents) - I am now a racist? Regardless that I assisted in hiding people from police in the 1980's. Regardless that I have actively fought for a non-racial society. Purely because I was born white, because my children are white, my grandchildren are white and (as the gentleman so eloquently said) even the unborn generations are white - we are/will be racists, just because we are white? Who is the real racist here? Being white never relieved my poverty, my not owning any property or not having the funds for tertiary education. Even now, just being white is preventing me from getting gainful employment. How does that make me the racist? Could the gentleman please explain perhaps?

This black guy says it's difficult to see racism, I mean what is racism: simply put, racism is the systematic and structural exclusion and oppression of black people by white people on the basis of their skin color. So, tell me how is difficult to identify racist who acts based on this ideology. Andile gives us a brilliant example of this systematic and structural exclusion and oppression of blacks when he points out that whites are overepresented in the top management structures at the expense of black people. And white children directly benefit from this overepresentation, while black children excluded. There are many examples to prove that white children are direct beneficiaries of Apartheid and racism.

I think a racial debate platform is necessary in south africa. We should start with the citicens of this country first, before introducing it to children. This history of apartheid started 60 years ago. 30 yrs of an apartheid govt and 30 yrs for the anc govt. Many whites landed up in jail during the reign of apartheid before 1994 as they refused to join the army. My brother served three years. Therefor whites had no choice as to adhere to government laws. Apartheid and racism was created by our sa govt. This was dealt with in the truth commission of 1994 and reigns were handed to the ANC govt. Many whites gave up their positions through affirmative action and race equality. Saying that whites are priveledged in south africa because they own land, has nothing to do with racism. This is something our news media should address as misleading our young children based on feelings and not facts is like putting an innocent person in jail. Most white south africans bought land and obtained title deeds ownership. They saved for years in order to put a deposit down, and many still pay off on their bonds. What prohibits any black person from doing the same? What prohibits the government in handing title deeds over to people who received rdp homes. Most of the very wealthy properties in some areas, does not even belong to south africans, but to people from abroad. The problems in our country at the moment is our economy. There is no more work and eventually where are we going to be. Instead of teaching our children of all race economic skills of how to survive and build an economy, we teach them if we look at yesterday, this is hopefully going to teach us how to build an economy together, so that everyone can be assured of work one day and be able to afford buying their own property. Yesterday is gone. We have today. We have each other. What is derived from this talk show is that white innocent children are being labelled as racist and enslaved with an idea instead of teaching all the children of south africa, we have hope and with joy we will build a new future.

The presenter read a poem which was very disresctful to Jesus and his followers, saying the Trinity were in a weird sexual relationship and the Holy Spirit, transgender. Not acceptable to disrespect any religion. Children were forced to be in this session and were told that as white children they bear guilt and are inherently racist. The children who were of colour and not black were told that they did not suffer to the same degree from racism. The black children lovingly raised by white parents were distraught and many children cried from distress. They were barred from leaving the venue. The entire situation was abusive in my opinion.

Why were the students receiving the training instead of the teachers? Also who conducted the means test to determine that the kids were "traumatised"? It's so silly to still be having race issues in SA so many years later when there are huge challenges to handle!

Thats what happens when you take short cuts in life, 1994 was done the wrong way, sometimes one has to go through serious pain in order to benefit later, go look how it was done in Mozambique and other African countries which were colonized. The correct approach is to ask your oppressor to pack and go, can come back on another deal, that gives you power. One cannot sit down and negotiate with ones oppressor because your oppressor negotiates from the position of power, now we or our children have to redo everything.

You also concentrate on the issue of racism which while serious is not the most serious issue. The fact that the Trinity was blasphemed is the bigger issue.
