Did you know that the bible warned us things like this would happen? Don't believe me, before the flood when Noah was working on the ark the earth had become so polluted by the industry of the day that many bodies of water were so filthy people who drank it died. People like to say the bible isn't relevant to today but Flint would have clean drinking water if they had paid attention to the story of Noah and the Ark. Crazy isn't it? @@thebigbadhelmut472 sounds like you dont know what happened to flint. They accepted water from a neighboring city but it had higher acid content that ate away the coating in the pipes. By the time they shut it off the damage was already done and all the houses also have to have their pipes swapped out, not just city lines. Its not from people dumping pollutants in the water. Its from the regulated protective coating coming off because people are dumb.

@Adam Mocaby not really, just read about what the earth was like before the flood. It was the creation of cities and large industries that caused the earth to become so polluted. Much like today, the closer you get to a city the worse the air quality becomes. The worse the water becomes and the less wildlife you see. There used to be crawfish in DeKalb county Georgia. There aren't anymore. Only because of the amount of people and the amount of pollutants those people release. The bible warned us. If I'm wrong, use my bible and show me where I'm wrong. Show me that it doesn't read what I said about life before the flood.
@chrism70675 жыл бұрын
@@thebigbadhelmut472 go read It was more acidic because different cities treat water differently and thus PH is different. You dont just dump and filter water to get drinking water, its a whole chemical process to recycle the water we use. The water treatment the neighboring city used ate through the protective layer on the lead pipes laid down generations ago in flint. (which flint's water treatment had been accounting for over the years, was an over site. A very costly one, but an over site non the less)

So the miracle is the same water filtration system I have in the basement..... besides mine having more stages. Time for flint to pay for whole hose filtration systems for everyone. Given the price, I can’t believe they didn’t do it on their own dime, it’s gotta be difficult to bathe with bottled water.

Hello I live in Flint and I live by flint river. We have been given 77.7 million dollars to fix the pipes and they have (very slowly) been fixing the pipes but our water is still very bad. I’m truly sorry for those that live in flint as that less fortunate and pipes are still filled with lead. I’m happy that people are still helping my city and won’t give up until we get clean water.

They run the box for 2 hours on Wednesday. It's a glorified filter system that can be put together at Home Depot for under $500. The box costs more.
@decgal815 жыл бұрын
Most people don't have $500 just laying around.
@TheDwightMamba5 жыл бұрын
The Smith family should be furious their name is on this. The box costs more than the filtration. The flight to Flint cost them more than the company they paired with delivered.

@manwhofumbles5 жыл бұрын
I think you are missing the point, it's not about the water filter, it's about how American, a first world country, has citizens who do not have access to clean water, and the governments refusal to admit that, it's about the community coming together to fix an issue

I’m not trying to be mean or disrespectful but what really made me upset was when at 1:13 when the person said that “ this has never happened in America before” referring to the water shortages. I would like to just bring light to the fact that a lot of Native American reserves in America have been without clean drinking water for generations, so flint is not the only place this is happening. The American government really needs to fix this water crisis all over America soon because a lot of people are suffering and nobody should be without clean drinking water. I hope nobody took this the wrong way
