If Water Water Fruit exists, it is probably in One Piece (or with someone powerful almost Roger level, a future boss or a powerful ally close to Raftel), because it would be an OP fruit, which would break the curse of the sea and allow its user to swim and control or manipulate water , making it possible for the user to weaken other DF users. With Haki and awakening it would be even more OP. If this DF exists, whoever eats this fruit will be the King of Pirates or the cause of Chaos and Destruction.

Actually water can't get anywhere close to as hot as magma. Once water gets so hot. It just evaporates. That's why people use a double boiler to melt chocolate and fondue or even cook crack. It doesn't burn them cus it evaporates before it gets hot enough.

I was about comment on that. Like how Aokiji can lower the temperature of whatever he touches, what if you can control the basic molecular structure of water: H2O. You not only can control water, but also the very air and the ice he freezes, like how you could make armor out of the ice he forms from water attacks or how you could make barriers like Bartolomeo. Given that the material used to confine devil fruit users is called kiaroseki which literally translated as sea stone, maybe a water water fruit could exist but it would have to have the properties of fresh water. Also keep in mind that we've never seen luffy drowning in a lake or pond only in the open sea.

Nah, Oda confirmed it was ALL types of water. Go check the SBS for volume 41. Also, yes Devil Fruit users can take showers because they aren't submerged in water, they have to be careful when taking baths though. Sidenote: This is like the 20th time I've had to explain this in these comments. I understand One Piece is a REALLY long story and you can't know all this stuff off hand, but i would suggest at least a quick wiki search just to check.

Was looking for this video and found it, I know its old but ive been thinking that the water fruit will be on the last island, I also think the water fruit may have a hand in making other devil fruits by extracting a water essence and useing that essence to cultivate devil fruits or something along the lines of, sorta like smoothies devil fruit but more extreme. That may be why when fruit users are in water they become week because the essence is diluted. In that case, the user will not be weakened by its own state of water but will still be weak against other states of water.” Like how Monet wasn’t affected by her snow. Therefore theoretically the user of the water-water fruit would not be weaken by liquid water. I think that if this fruit were to exist the effects of the ocean would be that they couldn’t use their fruit when they come into contact with the ocean; but they would still be able to swim and stuff like that. Honestly looking at the world of one piece and trying to make this fruit based on the set restrictions that is why we haven’t seen this fruit. If you really really think about this fruit it would be hella OP.

I see no reason not to have it. Elements are elements, and I see no particular reason one couldn't have it. It would be fairly powerful however depending on the usage and limitations, but it could also be very weak. For example, could the user only control fresh water? Making it useless for the sake of say, walking over the ocean or creating a bubble around yourself that no water could pass and touch your body and thus weaken you. That right there would balance it out in an instant as the ocean is salt water and outside the realm of the fruit. It'd also be a very double edged sword. You wouldn't be able to use it recklessly in a closed or confined space, because the deeper the water is on the ground that you are generating, the weaker you'd become. If one, or even both, of those limitations exist then it would honestly be a rather average power all in all. Sure, you could theoretically submerge an enemy fruit user... But only if you could also maintain the water's shape, which water doesn't like to do. I would be silly not to include the ways it could also be very powerful however. The rule is 'water in the liquid state', but that doesn't mean the water will magically remain in that state. The water-water fruit could take great advantage of weather itself. Say you are on a winter island, fire it up into the clouds and have it come down as hail, or fire it into clouds so that a storm gets bigger and bigger and bigger until it's an absolute downpour and the area becomes 'your domain'. I could see a character with this fruit carrying around an umbrella, possibly with a focusing spout on the tip. Even just being in a desert, being able to drink your own water would be pretty great, or supply for your allies. Or just making quicksand/mud so your enemy sinks, or in a volcanic area just splashing some water to make steam for cover or to escape. It would be a very versatile fruit, and pressurized water can really cause some damage. Go down deep enough into the ocean and you'll be crushed.

Part of me thinks that a Water Water Fruit either doesn't exist or is in some way out of reach, and I'm not sure we'd ever see it because of how overpowered it would be. All you'd need to do to defeat _any_ other Devil Fruit user is to submerge them and then play keep away until they drown, and if there's some sort of combo the user has that lets them boil it (whether through Haki, technology, or just having a teammate who can heat the water), then that's one scary ass fruit. However, I do have a couple ideas for where it might be found if it does exist... *Dragon* This is kind of just me guessing, but I think it's highly possible that Dragon could have a water based Devil Fruit. He seemingly appeared out of nowhere (perhaps coming from the water droplets during the rain?) and the storm that saved Luffy in Loguetown was awfully convenient. It might be possible that he manipulated the water in the atmosphere in some way to bring a storm earlier than it was supposed to happen. *A Raftel Guardian* This is a bit of a crackpot theory, but hear me out. As far as we know, Shanks not only has no Devil Fruit, but apparently none of his crew do either. And on top of that, they had freaked the hell out when Luffy ate the Gum Gum Fruit that they brought to the bar with them. Why might that be, I wonder? Could it be that they know that on Raftel, there's some sort of guardian that possesses a water devil fruit and they could be drowned if they try going there? Given that Shanks was part of Gold Roger's crew (even though he never set foot on Raftel), I think it's highly likely that he knows a lot more about the island and its dangers than any other person.

Adam J. Harper Law's powers put some kind of strain on him, this has been shown thus far like in his fight with Doffy, Doffy's powers put no noticeable strain on him and he was able to outlast both Law and G4 Luffy showing incredible stamina and durability. While i think that Law shouldve been the one to finish Doffy (which is a whole other story XD) im not surprised he was beaten.

one piece fan yes it does its not just sea water its just the most prominent body of water we can see df users like luffy brook and kalifa get weakened when they were taking a bath and i doubt you could clean yourself all that much in seawater also if memory serves when they were on punk hazard and were crossing the water from the fire side they entered on over to the ice side luffy said something about him not being able to swim over so they had to find some way around that

I needed this video, cause I've been thinking about the theory for a lot now, and making possibilities & guesses. But really omg if there was such an ability it would be OP. Maybe it's not just possible to control water you create, but also water mass that's actually there as in sea water. That'd be so useful in-sea since you could just sink any ship in sight.
