The Watercress Line (Mid-Hants Railway) Diesel Gala 2023

Hello and welcome to MCT Trains 🚂 This is a special video form this years Watercress Line (Mid-Hants Railway Diesel Gala 2023. I visited on the final day of the gala Sunday 16th July 2023. It was a great day out with plenty to see at ride. Visiting locos were a Class 14, Class 66502 from Freightliner, Class 33012 and the 4TC. Also taking part in the gala were the home fleet of Class 20188 and 20059, Class 47579 and various Class 08 and 11 shunters 😃 Lots to see and do and this video will show you my day there with riding trains, line side and bridge passes as well as some pictures! 👍 The Watercress Line is a great place to visit for steam and loco hauled heritage trains with a long line and steep gradient track. Well worth a visit if you've not been before 👌 👍

Awesome video, they jad some amazing locos there, especially the 33 - she was stunning soinding, looking and everything, not to forget the 47, she was one thrashy lcoo! Bet you felt like a proper train driver when in the 47's cab, waiting for a passing train! 😂

Yeah it’s a good line and my local preserved railway so always make the effort to go 👍🏻 shame there class 50 is under repair as that would have been a great addition 👍🏻
