The trick is to clamp the frequency spectrum, highlighting only areas of conflict. The sound of the plugin mostly comes from the Single dial compressor. Using this with automation on channels or and mix let’s certain elements move in and out of focus.

So I tried it out - and agree even though it has an “auto-gain” radial button on by default - it does seem overall it pushes it a little. So I saw this post before I tried it - still hear a great and good difference even with gain matching it “to ear not by measurement”. So agree with you, and will add it still does its thing. Worth it.

I think it might be the start of a suite of new AI plugins coming from Waves - where you will put that or something similar on every single track - and it will be controlled by another plugin - sort of what Isotope has previously done. Idk if it’s fairy dust or some sort of witchcraft. One thing I do know is that IDX is working from Waves. So whatever the animosity towards Waves is you need to drop it for a min and grab this even if you missed the freebie it’s still worth picking up I mean $24 is a bag of shells compared to what some of these greedy companies are selling for. That plugin on that track Bolo is Grammy worthy. See you in La La Land next year with new R&B hit.

In fact It's even advised & recommended to use It on the Master Bus & on Group, Individual Tracks as well If desired during the Mixing & Mastering process faze In specificity I've used the plugin & It adds a whole NEW dimension & tonality that you didn't realize was missing that your\all producers sound need to help define it. & from my experience It's pretty LOW to my surprise on CPU usage to be such an powerful, useful plugin. So this makes It an extra + bkz It can be casual used without fear of crashes, or freezing.
