February is obviously better here, but she was sick during the performance, while Dylan's voice is missing something when he's not singing live, I don't know if they modify his voice or what but it doesn't sound as good as live, and I kind of miss Meredith's robot voice, it was perfect on stage and gave the all part about different races and destroying humans a little more sense

Yeah. Belting in studio is a lot harder than on stages. When I was recording a song that requires a lot of belting, I was trying to not blow the mic (which is totally possible) but still sound the same as a live performance

@@jenniferrelucio9833 Absolutely no disrespect towards Team Starkid (I've bought the virtual DVDs for a couple of their shows and 100% support them in trying to get their money's worth for the quality content they always produce for us and upload for free, however, this and a stream of other lyric videos that the Team Starkid account commented on two months ago are 9 years old. If you look at this channel's activity, they haven't even posted a video since 8 years ago, so who knows if they even check this account or have access to it? I don't quite understand the point of going on a commenting spree of videos that are nearly a decade old, when the songs themselves are also up on Spotify and Apple Music and I don't believe artists make much money off those streams either. I realize that the Black Friday cast album is only available if purchased and again, I support that and plan on purchasing it when I actually have enough money to spare on hand, and I support Team Starkid warning people who are putting up content that people have to pay for up for free and taking money away from them, but coming after 9 year old videos kind of confuses me...Of course if Team Starkid replies and explains what I'm missing, I'd be more than happy to retract my comment. I truly don't mean to offend or hurt anyone! I also think that if they were against people putting up lyric videos and official audio on their KZbin channels, maybe they should put it up on their own channel and encourage everyone to use those videos instead? I think it might be the other way. This is original , but because it starts on Eb3, it might be uncomfortably low even for Meredith, so she might not feel strong enough that day to sing it that low so she started an octave higher and then worked her way around the passage so she could end on the right note.

@@fredjeff397 this seems to be a popular opinion, and I'd say it's justified in the context of this song, which has three other performers with fuller voices. Although I think Denise has a perfectly wonderful voice, I definitely see why her lighter tone might not be comfortable to the ears with this love ballad. I personally restart the song when Dylan and Meredith stop singing, but that's more to do with me liking their voices together than disliking Denise and Joey's. Either way, I agree that the first half is better, but I also agree that saying Denise isn't a strong singer without explanation or *constructive* criticism is a bit unnecessarily mean (I'm specifically referring to "ruining the song" here), however justified the opinion.
