@@steveleadbeater8662 The hell you do. I have trained all my cats to understand that I am the big dog in the house. They don't scratch or mess in my house. They ask permission for the things they want. They climb on ONLY the things I designate they can climb on. And they DO NOT leave my yard for any reason. They have their front claws and would not dare scratch me unless we are playing and even then will turn gentle instantly when they realize their claws came out. And I have never once had to hit or yell at them for anything. Tone and presence work wonders.

She already knows how to ask for and get what she wants at my house. When she showed up in my yard pitifully crying, I forgot I had no intention to add a 4th kitty to my life.
