I think the reason we don’t get QTEs like this anymore is because when QTEs were in their heyday, game devs abused the SHIT out of them. Like you had QTEs for things that weren’t important, QTEs every five minutes. Gamers had enough and we told them to cut that shit out but game devs went too far in the other direction so now we hardly get them at all.
