The Way To Heaven - Jang Sa-ik

This video is from a performance in Seoul and combines footage from a traditional Korean funeral with an original song by Sa-ik, in which the deceased wonders how to find heaven. The song ends in a final revelation of paradise, and Sa-ik's voice is like a thunderclap as it expresses the ecstasy of that grand vision.

I was asleep when this was being played on tv and it’s beauty woke me up. I then had to scramble a bit to discover the artist. Such an amazing song. Two weeks later my brother passed away suddenly and was cremated. Maybe it was a sign.
