Just know you are love or walk in love. I don't like controlling anything. It's so freeing just to be nothing or love walking.

"You've got o want it. You've got to desire it." Unfortunately desire cannot be forced. You can try to desire it but if you don't, you don't.

Bentinho uses classic mind control techniques over people once they are in his little cult, he even calls his group a cult but says its better than being part of the cult of life out there, where people are depressed and bored. He dry fasts people, that means no food or water just grape juice and sleep cycling (sleep deprivation). When someone lost her teeth in Sedona from his dry fasting (because you can't live without real water) Bentinho said, "its just your body getting rid of what it doesn't need." Bentinho claims, "I can levitate, bilocate and move mountains but I stop myself." Sure Bentinho says some things that are helpful and sound good, all cult leaders do! That is why they have followers but anything helpful he says doesn't negate the danger he poses. Basically he has gone over the line with his own grandiosity, narcissism, arrogance, lust, greed, vanity, power seeking, attention seeking, belief in his own infallibility and manipulation. He has five suicides to his credit, two in Europe and three in the United States. He glorifies being dead, killing yourself and "having more important work to do on the other side." Brent Wilkins truly believed he had more important work to do if he was no longer "in the body," so he jumped off a bridge in Sedona during Bentinho's retreat or "Sedona Experiment" as Bentinho called it. Bentinho is not nice to his girlfriends, he shreds their personalities continually, he claims he is the guru and the guru is infallible and not here to be your friend. Bentinho is an arrogant man child who was groomed by his father to be a public speaker from childhood, that is why he is so good at public speaking and manipulating people. I suspect he is schizophrenic and bipolar, there are so many warning signs in his behavior. Anyone who is a psychologist or trained in cults can break down how Bentinho runs his schtick. Bentinho wants fame, fortune, glory, adoration, if you don't give him the $2,500 to be in his Shepard Program then you aren't committed to saving the world. He copies ideas and information from any tradition or source that suits his needs and meshes them together to repackage and sell to the gullible.

MountainBikeBabe shades of Andrew Cohen. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

MountainBikeBabe man you really point to an interesting way of looking at him. Lets say all of this is true. He is a modern cult leader who is handsome and wealthy and does cool shit. But also brainwashes his followers to do craZy dangerous shit. So, would it really be bentinhos fault for said suicides? I look at it like these people were already on their way to suicide regardless. If not bemtinho then it would have been some other “teacher” who preaches that suicide is ok. You get what im saying.

isn't that your path is different from my path?

What do you mean by that?

Aurelio Yuga forgive me! maybe I didn't write that correctly.. isn't it that your paths/purpose is different than every other being on this spinning earth? How can we teach each others path to enlightenment?
@ishmahal11118 жыл бұрын
There's no path to enlightenment. That's a trick of the mind.
