Just another great lesson Sandra. I like your arrangement very much. This song is one of my alltime favorite jazz songs. The late Tony Bennett sings this song in a superb storytelling style!!Thank you so much for this one Sandra!! Cheers & regards,Ron😃🎸

Fills my heart with joy to see you happy 😊. It is indeed a great melody and well composed song. It sounds good, even dressed in such a simple arrrangement.

Thx Sandra....quite a challenge for the fretting hand. liked the Gflat m7 chord change toward the end . starting to get to grips with the hybrid picking which is tricky with the use of the pinky. onwards to all the things you are. great teaching
@GuitarversumSandraSherman10 ай бұрын
Yes, that was hard for me too in the beginni g. The "trick" is to exclusuvely use hybrid picking for a couole if weeks, until you get used to it.

Thank you Sandra! I’m just getting into this - played rock/pop for thirty years but don’t really know a lot about playing jazz guitar. I’m happy to work on stuff though. Do you think your five pack of chord melody would be good or do you have another recommendation that I should purchase from you first? In the past I’ve made up basic simple solo guitar arrangements for pop songs (Beatles etc) but nothing that sounds like this.

Make sure to know your chords, before attempting chord melidy. I know everyone wants to start with it, but it's really the masterclass and it's so much easier if you know your basic chores first. Search for these keywords in the search box: 1) 7th chords system guitarversum 2) Tension Chords guitarversum 3) Jazz Guitar Rhythm patterns guitarversum THEN, when you're able to comp any random Jazz standard you've never heard of, you can play your next chord melody.
