@deathflower I always felt like Vince held Randy Savage back quite a bit! Especially in the early 90s, he wasn't in the Survivor series except for the little interview he had. And they didn't let him enter the Royal Rumble! He could have ran circles around those guys rather than having Rick Martel get the record that year.

Fun fact: Macho Man was a minor league baseball player. He actually severely injured his throwing arm at one point. He learned to throw with his other arm, to stick around for a few more years.

I was always impressed by how JACKED Randy got from late 1998 to mid 2000. His entire body (arms, neck, pecs, delts, lats, etc) were never that big (mass), defined (cut) and striated (veins) in his entire career and what's most impressive is that he was in his mid-late 40's at that time.

Macho Man Randy Savage was and always will be my favorite wrestler of all times. He put on a barn burner with Ricky the Dragon Steamboat at WrestleMania 3. That match in my opinion was the greatest InterContinental match of all times. WrestleMania 4 when he won the tournament was absolutely breathtaking.

(They covered feuds from a bunch of promotions so it wasn't due to it being wcw) ddp vs Savage was the best head to head feud in 97 and it was probably the best rivalry between an NWO member and a wcw guy. Sting was the "leader" of wcw...but DDP carried wcw while sting wasn't wrestling

Randy came to my 3 rd birthday party I have pictures of him in his belt carrying me , he was such a sweet and gentle person , I would’ve never known he had a crazy side to him he was such a gentle soul , he was nice and caring and to see videos of randy calling out hogan and triple H , I was like no waaaay !! @deathflower Macho King Randy Savage vs Ultimate Warrior WrestleMania 7 should have been for the belt. I couldn't stand the fact that they put the belt on Sergeant Slaughter. He was an average mid card at best. And his match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 7 was rather terrible.

The Savage/Steph rumors got debunked by some members of the Wrestling Observer forums a few years back. The whole thing originated in a random post on the Death Valley Driver message board in a 2004 thread about the “scummiest wrestling urban legends.” The post seemed to be inspired by some recent heat that had cropped up after Triple H referred to Savage and Hulk Hogan as “dinosaurs” in an interview. Savage responded in a video on his website where he said he’d “bitch-slap” Trips and “steal your wife,” and apparently prior to that Savage was considering a return to WWE given the right circumstances. The original DVD post had no citations, plus it claimed Steph was only 14 in 1994 (she was born in September 1976 and would’ve turned 18 that year) and every wrestler in WWF during the mid ‘90s (including Trips’ friends like Sean Waltman) that have commented on the rumor has said they never heard anything about it until well into the ‘00s after it had spread beyond the internet forums.
