Taking stand still and let mechanic resolve by heart.
This all started from the idea of using tank lb3 to survive the failed tether and homing featherlances in suppression. We had that thought in the back of our minds for a while until we actually had the opportunity to use tank lb3 after main tank got hit by landslide and seeing what happens in action. After we knew that it would be realistically doable, we thought about combining the original 2x tank lb3 suppression with that and that eventually sparked the interest for the whole run.
There are few more tank lb3s that you could use but we found most of them too inconsistent to make them work, since losing lb3 in most cases kills the run.
We opted to not risk tank lb3s at roulette because getting past suppression is not as easy as it looks. If you can gen lb3 before first roulette you can "easily" get 2-4 extra lb3s.

For context for anyone confused, the limit break gain is from surviving damage that would usually kill thanks to mitigation. This was actually extremely overpowered in any content before Shadowbringers, since for each party member, one attack triggering this is 4% of the LB gauge, which spirals out of control with multiple fatal attacks on the entire party. Tank LB3 being the heavy party mitigation that it is basically allows for insane LB accumulation, although they severely reduced this effect in Shadowbringers onwards to be only 1% of the LB gauge.

Up to 3 from weights and 1 from eruptions, we decided that if we get past suppression we would play it safe and get the kill. We had did roughly 25 suppression pulls in total to figure out strats and learn to execute it, and after having two

This is so sick!!! I'm just a bit confused, can someone explain how do they manage to fill the LB bar so quickly? Besides beyond limits?

Every time a player survives lethal amount of damage by using mitigation and shields, that generates 1/20th of lb gauge. So using tank lb3 to survive a lot of repeated damage that would instantly kill everyone, also generates a lot of lb in return. This allows us to keep using tank lb3 and instantly get it back. First tornado in garuda is taken with every party mitigation we have. Lb generation is heavily nerfed in shadowbringers content and newer so you cannot do this to this extent in tea or dsr for example, but speedkills still use this to their advantage to gain extra limit breaks.

Everyone else is commenting on the LBs, which are admittedly amazing, but the party that stands out to me is seeing someone else playing SKS GNB in UWU! 2.19 (saw at 1:58 tooltip hover) isn't the fastest you can go, I've gotten down to 2.11 with SHB relic and high SKS food, not that that necessarily means it does more damage than slow GNB lmao. Did you math out what speed would be optimal, or is this just a fun build for the hell of it?

Actually i do play 2.19 sks gnb in uwu outside of meme runs too. Its the slowest gcd where you consistently get 10 gcds under no mercy. Its very equal to normal 2.40 bis but way more fun to play

@@karppitf Oh nice! I ended up just going 2.12 (2.11 with current tier food) on jobs like RPR, DRG, GNB etc in uwu for a lot of this expac, there's some extremely silly but satisfying interactions. For example, it has the same ultima opener you did where you start with Gnashing, end with Gnashing, and post-predation you complete your previous combo and go right into a third Gnashing. I'm not sure if 2.11/2.12 would gain anything specific over 2.19, maybe a couple of GCDs but crit/garuda padding is gonna matter a lot more, but high-speed builds are definitely more fun to play^^

I mean this doesn't work in more recent stuff because it has 90% damage downs also attached to the 1shot damage to prevent this stuff from actually working and letting you still clear.
