Before the cancer diagnosis he got rehired by TWC and for the remainder part of his life he worked everyday til he passed away basically Dave was kinda like the weather version of Alex Trebek who we revently lost both worked til they passed away.

I miss the music played during the local on the 8’s, always loved keeping it on the TWC as a kid and listening to it, especially late at night. Miss these days so much! Thanks for these videos!

Its been really cool to see how many people get nostalgia from this and who, like myself, listened to the weather channel as background music back then😊....i remember the blizzard of 96, it was the winter of my junior year of high school, and i welcomed the 2 days off from class we had here in MA

I have spent some time in hotels and always enjoyed just putting the weather channel on or the hotel channel on and just kicking back to this music. Good times. Forget about absolutely everything. Just enjoy your coffee and forget about the world.
