Martha Wash is the vocals for the song Everybody Dance Now by C&C Music Factory. In the video they used a thin woman doing her vocals and didnt give her credit so she files a lawsuit. She lost but because of this now they have to give vocal credits.

I went to Spring Break with friends in 1983 to Ft. Lauderdale and Daytona Beach. I would love to give a big kiss and hug to both of The Weather Girls", aka "Two Ton's of Fun, aka Sylvester's backup singers, for inciting women with the power to go grab total strangers and doing what they wanted with men on the dance floor and very possibly elsewhere. I was younger than my friends and more of a dancer than they were, so I became popular and, wanted. I was shameful but kind and loving, as well as being safe.
