It could be worse! Baby Boomer here! I remember jumping under my school desk during the Cuban Missile Crisis/ October 1962! Watch the movie 13 days ! The real event was much worse! Thank God for President JFK ,former US Naval officer ! He called Republican president and former General Dwight David Eisenhower , Commander of the D-Day Invasion June 6,1944! I miss those days when Republicans actually worked with Democrats to keep the USA safe!

The weather this spring has been gruesome. In North central Arkansas, we’ve been lucky, as tornadoes have bypassed us, but yesterday, Wednesday, I got really scared. The dark clouds looked like tornado bands moving fast. The wind was fierce and we got heavy rain and hail. The trees were bending. My tall flowers broke. After seeing the damage in Iowa, I experienced terror. But, thankfully, the storm eventually moved away and left just normal rain. I have so much sympathy for the tornado victims! 😢❤. Their town is now a wasteland. It boggles the mind.

@@GarraOfTheFunk14 I don't know. I notice they did the miscalculation off boundary and said most of Nebraska would be in the higher / enchanted risk but instead went to Iowa on the other day. Now it says it is today. Radar scope or Radar Omega and or Weatherbell Anyatics sometimes show up that not show up in some local weather. Some area may be the wild card or the forecast on radar still can be dead wrong when you don't see nothing or anything formed.

What's so unfortunate is that since we have a certain political party in our country that doesn't care about the environment or acts as if what we see with our own eyes is either a lie or just a coincidence. And all these record storms / weather events will be common place starting from a few years back until the next 100 years we're going to see our climate go bonkers! Believe me when I tell you mark my words and 5 to 10 years we are going to look back at this moment in time and wish these kind of outbreaks we're at these crazy times right now. And remember the reason why this certain political party doesn't believe in climate change is not because they don't believe the scientists they don't care about what the scientists say! They'd rather cash those fossil fuel checks and let the taxpayers pay for the cleanup of what's inevitable! And that's exactly why those fossil fuel billionaires buy off that certain political party because they'd rather have the taxpayers pay for the cleanup then having to pay it off themselves. The best investment in the world is for a crooked company to buy off politicians! 😡
@thisissomething5763
@thisissomething5763 28 күн бұрын
That's Republicans for you, and it all started with the big orange saying he doesn't believe in what the scientists tell him and he knows better than they do. And now since the fossil fuel industry gets away with destroying the planet, America and even among other countries has to suffer for it. This spring has definitely been the worst for climate change, since the beginning of April all the way to late May there has been severe weather every week somewhere. And with how active the tornadoes have been this spring, that's definitely not a good sign for hurricane season since that starts officially next week.

The NWS, state or federal government should give storm chasers EMS training since they are often first on the scene of storm disasters. Get them the training, equipment, supplies, and communication devices they need to do their best.
