Great review. Just bought the same grill for my RV here in Sweden. Thinking of getting a converter kit so I don’t have to use the small bottles as I have no idea how to transport them safely . The big bottles have a secure transportation in the RV.

bought the pony bottle and adapter. $3.00 fills it up and last forever now i am not putting so many green bottles in the land fill and saving tons of money thanks and GRILL ON.

I think we've had our Q1200 for about 4+ years now. Love the thing. We just leave it outside, uncovered and clean it down when it needs it. Still running perfect. finally replaced the igniter battery for the first time a couple months ago. 5 stars. Will buy again if needed.

The first and best thing I bought for our new TT. Get rid of those stupid one pound cylinders though. Simply remove the regulator from the grill and replace with quick change, then quick hose it right off your rig. Put another quick change on the reg you took off, now you can still us the one pound for remote grilling. Be sure to use gas tape (yellow) and check for leaks. Quick change fittings and hose on Amazon.

Your wire brush won't harm the enamel coating, it's basically glass hard. Nice review

Thanks for the cool video . I just got me a Q1200 and will see if it can cook as good as my '92 Hot Shot gas grill , I modified it a little bit with cast iron grates , drip pans a griddle 1lb to 20lb tank , thermometer . Little Hot Shot gets 600 degrees Fahrenheit up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit . Little lighter than the Q1200 , but I will give the Q a chance to see how it goes . You made me feel hungry ! Weber makes some great grills . What kind of beer are you drinking ? I love imported beer , especially from Germany . Prost !

I just ordered mine! I can't wait! I myself would've chosen black or red. To my surprise, my Wife chose orange! My Sister also said Orange in color! She's a Denver fan 🙄. What's up with that? Lol... This is like the 70th video i've watched to try and find someone who has a Q1200 with a "gas cage" for a canister, but everyone has this verison or uses a huge canister og gas.

Does the bottle hang lower than the legs forcing you to keep it off the edge of the table or can you set the grill on a larger table with no worries about the bottle?

MarineMan, I have the same grill. The bottle won’t interfere on a larger table. Although, when swapping out the bottles, you may want to do it with the grill at the edge to give you a little more room to work. There’s also a little bit of flex in the bottle mount.

Nice informative video but ...... You really, REALLY got to do something about your audio. It's awful. Just a cheap Shotgun microphone or even better, a wireless like the RODE GO, that will put the micro phone right under your head for excellent focused voice. Anyting, that will focus the sound of your voice, please. They do exist also for mobil phone recordings.
