Such a beautiful 1964 hit by the great Julie Rogers. A beautiful 53 year old song that captured my heart. So many memories from an emotional era.

My first elder sister used to sing this song and she recorded in cassette tape by night. I knew because of her quiet voices when I later played her song, now I grow up and her voices still in my memory so she made me love this song very much. Every time I've heard this song, I think of the very old day when I was young. I've to thank you her, she sang when she studied in Commercial school in Ayutthaya city of Thailand.

Thank you for saying that, Julie Rogers and singers in 1960s (and before) nailed it. But this beautiful ballad affects me still because it was sung with warmth, anticipation and perfect enunciation. It warms my heart. Julie deserved top billing, not sure if she ever got it .

I was 10-13 year old in the mid 1960's. What a wonderful time for all types of music. I remembered TV shows like Ed Sullivan, Hollywood Palace, Shindig, Hullabaloo and so many more featuring such a variety of great artists, bands, and tunes. Yes I even remembered this beautiful song for some reason today. I don't know why I thought of this one as I am 65 years old and never married. But we get to keep our dreams until we die, Right?

This is a very beautiful powerful love song for the wedding as it was named. The wedding song. A great brilliant song from many years back and still as great and brilliant today.
