Then after 50 first days you need to do blended. All 3 of these are our favorites. A friend of mine that's with Herman's hermits (keys) used to his piano bar and he would end with the plane song. Myself my daughter and best friends would sing along. We would do his background vocals from our booth. He'd crack up at us

This movie was released in 1998 but made to look like it was an 80s movie. Those of us who grew up in the 80s absolutely loved all of the music references, clothes, and other 80s stylings in it. The 80s were portrayed accurately! What a fun movie!

All except for Drew’s hair, which was utterly 90s. I was an adult in the 80s, and when I saw this movie on its initial release, I thought it did a great job with the 80s styles except for that hairstyle, which stuck out like a sore thumb as a 90s thing. It really bothered me, although I love the movie and have seen it many times. To this day, though, I still wonder what they were thinking with that hair.

Adam Sandler definitely has "regular " co-stars in his comedies. Steve Buscemi, the one singing at their wedding is one. He is in "Armageddon" which y'all should definitely react to. He was a firefighter before becoming an actor and is an amazing person. When 9/11 happened he went to ground zero and worked tirelessly with others. Another great Drew movie is Never Been Kissed. Also, on Fallon several years ago Sandler and Drew had this thing where they were singing to each other about doing a movie every ten years with each other and at the end he sang the grow old with you part to her and made her tear up. So sweet.

This movie actually came out just after Happy Gilmore and helped Adam Sandler move away from the "goofy guy from SNL" image and more of mainstream actor. His other movies are still goofy but this is the most serious role he had at the time.

@@jannathompson2262 Well just the part about raising a child and being a parent. Not the divorce part. Dustin Hoffman in the beginning of the movie is so wrapped up in his career and when his wife leaves, he has to take over and be really hands on with raising his 7 year old son. In the beginning of the movie he doesn't even know how to prepare French toast or do the grocery shopping. By the end of the movie he has it all down to a science and he handles a very difficult situation so well. And the acting is outstanding. Hoffman won the Oscar I think Meryl Streep won too. I think even the little boy was nominated -- he was incredible.

Just wondering if it's possible to have your faces stay on the sides in the bubbles when you comment and the movie stay large in the middle bc it keeps switching back and forth every time you comment. It is awkwardly jumpy to watch that way. I hope you receive this feedback knowing it's meant with respect. Thanks.

Yep - that was Adam Sandlers voice on the very last song in the closing scene on the airplane...Sandler did all his own singing through the entire movie none of it was dubbed in from someone else's voice. This was the first movie I saw him in sing at all, he might not be 1 of the greatest ever but, he clearly can sing as the very first scene and last shows.

It was also the first movie I'd seen Drew Barrymore in after all the bad stuff she'd been through, and thought she absolutely killed it! Really glad you guys enjoyed it! I agree with others below, I'd recommend "50 First Dates" as another one that showcases the chemistry between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Another Adam Sandler movie I'd recommend is "Mr Deeds", if you haven't seen it already.

This movie came out in 1998 but takes place in the 1980s, so there were looking back jokes like the pop clothing styles, and his ex wearing the Van Halen t-shirt will cause them to break up. Sandler does like 80s music but in this case it was current to the time period, and the wedding singers were singing current hits. Billy Idol appearing and playing against his bad boy image was fun.

More favourites of his movies are 'Click' & 'Grown Ups' His movies usually feature the same actors, they have like a movie family where they all feature in each others films. You should check out 'Airheads' it stars Adam Sandler, Brendon Fraiser & Steve Buscemi. Its about a rock band trying to get a record contract. 👍
