bryharrell: Thanks! the guitar is strictly unplugged. I was also blown away by how well the individual notes carried. I'm sure the acoustics in the church had a lot to do with it, but the Martin guitar was the real deal. After a week of playing with it (was a rental), I wanted to purchase one for myself.

One of the most heart felt performance's I have heard in many years of this song. You two should spend a lot of time together as you compliment vocally well. It does not happen often. Just a friendly suggestion; you might try a Taylor or Collings acoustic as the mid ranges might fit your combo better. I had a D35 and when flat picked it can't be beat. Played fingerstyle, folks would yell play louder! I am 6' 4''---sit closer! Fare Well
