As a person who witnessed the Tuscaloosa Tornado, I can confirm this scenario is quite near what happened 10 years ago. Using actual locations that actually is in Tuscaloosa that I definitely recognize rather makes me happy that someone still recognizes us. That day was a horrible day. 10 years later and I still can see it perfectly.

I was in Tuscaloosa during the outbreak of 2011. Probably one of the scariest days of my life. I’m now 24 years old, And reflecting on that terrifying day is hard to do without getting scared of what Mother Nature can do to feast upon us. I like watching scenarios like this as they have so much detail in them and I know that they take long to make. In my opinion, This was great. Keep the good work up and don’t give up. Ever.

Respectfully, Rest In Peace to those who perished in 2011. The 2011 outbreak goes to show, as much as we wish to understand the fury of Mother Nature she will strike harder, faster, with violence that we can comprehend. This scenario was fantastic both as an homage to those who were part of the severe weather awareness and to the outbreak itself. You did a fantastic job and the end section explaining the outbreak and discussing the whole thing was certainly a nice touch. At the time I was only 11 but my fascination with weather was well underway, at the time I didn’t understand just how bad this was but after furthering my own personal research it really shows just how much we wish to understand weather. Furthermore, from someone who has EAS scenario ideas but no real drive to make them or the means to do so, I must say, Clay, your work is very well done. Keep up the fantastic work, I personally can’t wait to see what more you’ll bring to the table with your scenarios weather related or not.

Excellent, excellent work here. I live a few miles north of Anniston in Calhoun County and the worst damage I can remember was from the thunderstorms that morning (2011). They don't get talked about enough but that was some of the most extreme straight-line winds I've ever witnessed. I was a junior in high school at the time and as soon as I got there the power was out and everyone was going home. I had to go pee in the dark lol

I know my comment is late, but this scenario just appeared on my algorithm. I have lived in Alabama my entire life, so tornadoes are a way of life. But 4//27/2011 was a nightmare from Hell. It was a very long day spent in my neighbors’ basement. When I was three years old, my hometown was devastated by an F-5 tornado during the April 3, 1974 outbreak. My father had the ugly task to identify bodies, many of them whom were our friends. Thank you so much for this scenario. Well done! RIP to the victims of the 4/27/2011 outbreak. BTW, I can always remember the date because that is my mom’s birthday.

The next time Clay you do an EAS story in Alabama, lease include the Wiregrass area in it. Dothan and Houston County feel like we're being ignored. I get mentioned but never get to take part in the action. Wedge 4 should have the Wiregrass in it. We're in the Southeastern most corner of Alabama. Just west of Georgia and north of Florida. 79 miles from the coast and 77 miles from Panama City and Panama Beach Florida. Now you know where I am, I hope you do for my area. Ok?
