Raining Fire (EAS Scenario)

Here is an EAS scenario examining the threats from space.
With the Chelyabinsk meteor defining the destruction meteors can bring, it's clear that meteors can strike our planet at anytime. Everyone fears the big one that would kill all life on Earth, but it should also be looked at from a smaller scale. The Chelyabinsk meteor generated an explosion that shattered windows and injured thousands of people. Combine this blast with extreme fire weather conditions, and you have a recipe for disaster.

After listening to a bunch of EAS scenarios, yours (especially this one) are my favorite. Incredibly realistic, the wording is spot on, the pacing builds the tension really well and things don't get too hokey or unbelievable (until the twist, heh). This video is quite impressive, I enjoyed listening to it and I believe that you will soon reach the levels of the greats like Ben Marking. Unfortunately, one thing took me completely out of the immersion...where the meteorites fell, they shouldn't have all fallen in the same place. The earth rotates, so they should have fallen from east to west slowly. If you'd started in SW Kansas and eventually worked your way to, oh, Colorado Springs or Denver, with an Aspen/Vail kicker, I would have completely bought it. Still, a damn good job!
