14:30 "Oh my god, I was actually blocking straight-up BACK and that thing nailed me!" That happened to me once, too. That Foot Dive is actually mechanically broken. If even Doom's toes are on the other side of your character, it will technically count as you needing to block as if he were crossing you up. It even happens if you're in the corner. I believe one of Haggar's moves shares a similar property. I think his grounded dropkick.

Max would rather use the characters he likes, then the characters that are good. These raw videos of him just playing are entertaining as hell, and not for the viewers but for Max as well most likely, I am not saying Top Tiers are boring to watch, I am just saying that Max's videos are way different then most UMVC videos I watch, and I love it.

Yeah, I really think it would be interesting to have Max compare the internet connections between the two and the relative skill each console has. Plus he could work his way up from the bottom ranks to the top on the leaderboards in front of us

Yeah, my bad, I remembered after I posted about Max's Hater gonna hate moment with the Wesker/Deadpool DHC, but yeah, as stated before, it doesn't matter what tier Max uses, and how my original post wasn't pointed towards the tier list and more about Maxs gameplay and what he brings to the matches.

Commenters: Thumbs up if you like this idea: Max: I think it do both live and post commentary on your vids, that way you focus on playing, and then talk about what happened afterward, but still leave the audio for both. So like when in this video you can explain what happened with Frank in the first fight, and we still get to hear your reaction. I would very much like to see/hear that. Maybe you can use the closed captioning, so we can turn it on/off like the annotations?

I respect your opinion, but as for my opinion, I don't care if I see the same 4-5 characters, it is just rare to see some footage of a player that isn't top, but isn't bottom playing multiple games and showing his loses when they happen. I enjoy knowing I am not always going to be watching the same videos. Subbing to this man was one of my best online accomplishments of all time.

I am aware of the tier list, I was just replying to the person asking about the easier characters online. I am talking about how Max doesn't use an easier top tier team like Vergil,Doom,Wesker, and iirc Deadpool and Strider are not that high up the tier list.

I'm not sure, though. As much as maybe it might also be considered partially true, I never really see him play as Morrigan or Arthur or Trish or Hsien-ko or someone like that. What I mean is that he almost ALWAYS plays pretty safe to say the least. Some variety, sure, but still very limited in my personal opinion.

Max, with strider xf3 ouroburos, once you hit confirm carry them to the corner with wave dashes and summon non stop ww2 for a cool 1.2mil combo. :)

Hmmm ... I understand why you would think that Hulk requires no skill but it's not the case. When you use a move with the Hulk you commit to that move very heavily, unlike the speed characters like X-23. As the Hulk you have to anticipate when the opponent is going to attack and plan your attacks accordingly so your armor can absorb their hit and keep on going into a combo. Also armor doesn't start immediately on his moves so throwing out buttons with Hulk is a VERY bad idea, unlike say Wesker.

liberation is a good no doubt, but dark hole is better for consistency and available at the beginning of the match, it is a 1-shot godlike assist almost all the time, it is no bad but it requires a little of setup to be effective.

There seems to be some sort of paradigm amongst the watchers the Max is some godlike player who can pick up anyone and just win. That's not hte case. Max has grown accustomed to his usual teams, and taking time to learn new people is time he doesn't have. Between this, SFxT, Skull Girls, MW3 and all the other games under his videos, plus not to mention being married, Max doesn't have the time. Also, I don't think Max should change his team just because people want him to.

I can remember the famous Wesker DHC to Deadpools lvl 3 Haters gonna hate, so I suppose that is my mistake, but nonetheless as previous stated, I enjoy his matches no matter what characters they are.

all that you need to beat zero is just where he's going. Follow him with Doom and foot dive him in the face because Zero is fast but not invulnerable. At least that's how I catch him, only, I do it using only vergil or strider

Strider Hiryu best and coolest character in human history. Normally when I do Ouroboros I just launch the opponent in to air and as fast as possible I hit a.H into Excalibur 3 times.

Yeah you should add the commentary after the live match, like if i were to give an analysis of why you lost the first game it was when you had Wesker in a Strider combo and instead of going for the OTG you went to the hyper when he really did have too much health

If all the Hulks you play use just those 2 moves then they aren't very good. No Gamma Charge? No command grab? No occasional cr.L to scare you? If you want to see a good Hulk search for a player named Bum. Then you'll see what I mean.
