The Weekend Recap | Whitetail Deer Sights and Sounds from the Pre-Rut

The whitetail deer activity from this past weekend (November 10th - 12th) was hot. Bucks are still checking scrapes and some younger bucks are pushing does around. The midmorning activity was also exceptional with many deer on their feet up until midday. Now is a great time to be in the woods if you have enough vacation days from work. The upcoming shotgun season here in Illinois looks like it is going to be a shootout. Let us know what you think about the activity lately in your area.
