Heres my interpretation of the album: Alone again: he is scared of losing this girl he’s been with Too late: their relationship starts falling off and she starts to leave him Hardest to love: he realizes he hasn’t been the best man to her and takes the blame for it Scared to live: they break up and he lets her go Snowchild: I’m still trying to figure this out Escape from La: he starts feeling lost without her so he starts turning to drugs and seggs Heartless: he continues his bad ways and has given up on being a good man and starts gambling doing drugs and everything else Faith: he is caught up in his mind and finally he OD’s Blinding lights: he is being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after overdosing And realizes he can’t die without seeing this girl one last time In your eyes: he knows she cheats and doesn’t love him anymore but he tells her he’ll forget all that just to be with her and act like he doesn’t notice Save your tears: the girl rejects him In the club after he tells her this and walks away crying Repeat after me (interlude): he tells her that the new man she’s with isn’t actually who she loves because she still has him in her mind After hours: he is now in total pain after losing this girl twice and is at his lowest moment and misses her and it’s his “darkest hour” Until I bleed out: he ends up overdosing again and this time dies This leads to Dawn fm where he is in purgratory
