Actually, here in Finland. We have a radio show that airs every Friday from 19.00 to 22.00, but almost always the host "vetää yli" which means that he continues the show after 22.00. He plays only 90's eurodance, and the show is called "Retroperjantai" which means "Retro Friday". It's the most listened radio show in Finland on fridays. The same host (Oku Luukkainen) is a popular DJ and he has done lots of new eurodance music, and all of the songs have been in KZbin trending number one, or Spotify's Finland Viral and Top lists. There also are new bands that do 90's/disco type of music. For example Portion Boys (I recommend listening to "Karjala takas" ((backstory: it means "Karelia back", and it is a common meme and a dream here in Finland that we could get Karelia back from Russia. In the music video they drink Karelia beer, which is one of the most popular beers in Finland)) and "Sierralla Nevadaan") and Pasi ja Anssi (Listen to "Tää on se maa and "Kyntömies"). And there is a new radio station (not even 6 months old) called "Ysäri" (which means 90's in Finnish), and it is a very popular station. The same Oku Luukkainen is a host in a show there too. So at least in Finland eurodance has skyrocketed. Sorry for my bad english :D

This kind of sounds like a combination of Eurodance and Eurobeat. It has the 4/4 kick and bass rhythm of a 90s European house song combined with the synth riff and tempo of a song from Initial D.
