You should do a reaction to After Hours it was the prequel to Dawn FM. In After Hours it’s a story he dies at the end on Dawn FM his soul is in purgatory n he struggling to get into the afterlife do to his regret n failure to move on but the spiritual radio station Dawn FM is healing him n his regret so he can move onto the Afterlife. It’s a theory his next album will be Afterlife the commercial(Every Angel is terrifying) is promoting his next album that’s anime level foreshadowing lol it also ties into the radio theme as they play commercials in between songs 10 out of 10 execution

I kept laughing when you were saying "This is actually good, it's definitely not trash". I honestly feel his latest 2 albums are the best produced albums of all time.

Great reaction and I’m happy you could see the beauty in the music even though it’s not The Weeknd you prefer. To get the full scope of the story you have to go in with the knowledge that this album is the middle of a new trilogy. After hours was the beginning of the story where he indulges in the dark life style he loves even with the knowledge it’s killing him. This album is him in a state of purgatory and while your predictions on the album are right at the end Jim Carrey is telling him the truth is that heaven or hell is here on this earth and it is how he lives that will determine where he goes so the next album depending on how The Weeknd lives his life will determine if it is heaven or hell. Some of the Beauty in it is the fact that in After hours even though he loves the darkness of it he shows a lot of fear of it. As he gets older the fears start to surface and he views that as some sort of a weakness as you see in the gasoline video. Honestly if you made it this far thank you for making these great videos and truly looking for the best in every song! (Btw every angel is terrifying is just supposed to be a transitional song with spoken word in the meaning behind it 😂😂😂 so that’s why it’s so hard to listen to as an isolated song)

Every Angel Is terrifying is an Ad to promote “After Life” which is a possible album that completes a new trilogy

This I believe is a Trilogy part 2...Dawn FM the 2nd project and most people believe AFTERLIFE will be the next album

This whole albums concept is that Abel is stuck in purgatory, a endless cycle that only ends when you are able to come to terms with all your life’s mistakes and trauma. Hence the Interludes and bits by Jim. In less then zero Abel is so close to coming to terms with his past, maybe he did, but then it’s followed up with phantom regret. Jim is almost like an angel questioning Abel, if he’s really come to terms with his previous life. Phantom Regret is a perfect outro because it comes full circle back to the intro, the same way Catholics believe purgatory works.

The Concept: he imagined the listener having an out-of-body experience, as if they are navigating the road from death to the afterlife. “And they’re stuck in this purgatory state, which I always imagined would be like being stuck in traffic waiting to reach the light at the end of the tunnel,” he said. “And while you’re stuck in traffic, they got a radio station playing in the car, with a radio host guiding you to the light and helping you transition to the other side(Heaven or Hell) So it could feel celebratory, could feel bleak, however you want to make it feel, but that’s what The Dawn is for me.” Ps: At the End of After Hours the character he potrays dies (Outro „until I bleed out“)
