@@IconicVibes. Ohh...well timeless is also connected because he was unconscious/ dead after DANCING IN THE FLAMES MUSIC VIDEO. He ends up in purgatory where his life flashes in front of his eyes. He tries to escape which is shown in the 5 second clip where HOW DO I MAKE YOU LOVE ME MUSIC VIDEO PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND. The very next clip shows that he's standing between hell and paradise and a light is behind him. He's in his camo jacket ( call back to the trilogy). So, he's basically struggling to escape purgatory after living a reckless life (shown in DANCING IN THE FLAMES MUSIC VIDEO). THESE SONGS WERE RECAPS. Now the next thing will be NEW EPISODES/ SAGA in THIS TRILOGY.

Faith is my number 1 The Weeknd song. The amazing beat and modern 80s melodies, the story and his insanely awesome vocals. This track is so underrated.

After Hours is the best in the trilogy there’s genuinely zero skips even the bonuses
@spwntrolz973 ай бұрын
The fact that they are ambulance sirens and not police sirens makes perfect sense. it can be said that The Weeknd at the end of Faith could have had a traffic accident or overdose. while the effect of the drugs takes effect the songs have this 80's vibe with a hopeful touch. But once the effect wears off (in the song After hours) is when The Weeknd feels more alone than ever, as he explains in Faith (When I'm coming down is the most I feel alone). and then he ends up “dying” in the song Until i bleed out.
@IconicVibes.3 ай бұрын
Bro, you nailed it! 💯 The whole ambulance sirens theory ties in perfectly with that downward spiral. That 80's vibe during the high, then the crash in "After Hours" is such a powerful shift. And yeah, "Until I Bleed Out" really feels like the final chapter. The Weeknd's storytelling through sound is insane! 👏thanks for watching!
@benmiller2323 ай бұрын
I see it slightly different but kinda the same. I think in faith he ods and is in a coma from blinding lights til after hours when he wakes up and then he bleeds out and dies in until I bleed out

the weeknd overdoses in faith, the next tracks r upbeat and almost dream like, in after hours the first line is literally thought i almost died in my dream again bc he overdosed and wakes up in after hours and died in until i bleed out

This song was so beautiful to see live, Faith is a recurring theme in starboy aswell, the cross being more as a symbol, yes religious, but more so as a symbol of resistance to temptation, to evil, in hollywood, hence him breaking the awards and the posters with the cross, burning down the mansion.
@harvester_of_sorrow962 ай бұрын
It's a glowing red cross which sometimes even seen as upside down. Straight satanic shit lol, also listen to the lyrics. Nothing christian about it, no even mocking it.
@BeeHell2812 күн бұрын
I always heard it as "God is swimming in my veins" somewhat as a callback to "my god white, he in my pocket"

The song "Faith" was my beginning of listening to Weeknd and I've sticked to it since then, Abel's life as The Weeknd really explores such dark and helpless themes and they, at the very end, connect with the listeners. I think it's quite late of me watching this, it's a really brief and worth watching 'Deep dive'.
@killslayer15263 ай бұрын
The fact in Dancing in the Flames, not only "so just have faith" is mentioned despite ’faith’ being a song about how he has lost all faith, but also it shows him crashing a car and ending up in an ambulance leads me to believe this is some sort of continuation from where After Hours left off. (After Hours driving around wrecklessly ending in sirens, DitF finally crashing and being taken to be SAVED in an ambulance with those SAME sirens.) Furthermore in Faith he says ”I want you to OD right beside me…” and subsequently in DITF ”I, can’t, wait to see your face, crash…” which implies they both finally crash from their OD in this song.

1:00 I wouldn’t say a fall into darkness sets the stage for redemption. The stage for redemption was set when A-Train genuinely apologized to Hughie for what he did after experiencing his own tragedies, enabling him to relate and bare empathy. Without the empathy (however it develops), there’s not likely to be redemption, becoming a better person.
@checksoverstripes24983 ай бұрын
Faith is super underrated. It’s a very dark song that tells a story of Abel’s lowest point (or one of his lowest points) of his life. And then the outro of Faith is god-like. Like ascending to heaven as you’re dying. It’s an amazing song.
