To me, the whole Grammys aspect acts like a Church of music. It validates your place in the "religion." Which is why this awards ceremony in his video is being held in a church setting. He disses the Grammys for not nominating him. He pisses on his peers in the industry, hence, the champagne scene. Because the first couple of seconds it does look like he's peeing on them. He drinks the champagne but he spits, and doesn't swallow. Another metaphor? Then he goes on stage with the trophy. Then tosses it aside as if saying, I don't need this for you to validate my music.
