a lot of people say that it's to throw shade on the Grammys for not nominating him and being corrupt. my opinion is that the people with the mask are supposed to represent the Grammys. Hence him throwing that trophy. All they are interested in is to see him on the stage performing. It also seems that these masked people are meant to represent Hollywood and how many people within the business wear a mask to hide who they really are. The ''pissing'' coupled with the Trophy being thrown away is definitely a diss at the Grammy's. As for the song itself its about Bella Hadid and how she doesn't want him back because he broke her heart after getting his own heart broken by Selena Gomez who is represented in this video by the only woman that doesn't wear a mask. Her having the gun and '''killing'' him is meant to represent her basically killing their relationship. Or at least that's my interpenetration of it.

It's NOT about Bella! This song was written in 2017 and the incident with Bella was in 2019! The lookalike even confirmed it's about Selena. He wants her back and if he can't have her he'd rather die than be in pain. She's the only one not fake and genuine inside and needs her to get out of this dark place..aka Hollywood ! ''So I made you think that I would always stay I said some things that I should never say Yeah, I broke your heart like someone did to mine And now you won't love me for a second time'' This references his second relationship with Bella and how he broke her heart after he himself had his heart broken by Selena which is why Bella couldn't love him for a second time. This idea of Selena breaking his heart is visualized by the look a like ''killing him'' as she seemingly killed their relationship. So the song is about both women not just one or the another.
