no its about him trying to get away from the devil. Thats why he says 'take me to heaven' many times and right at the end. You know the weeknd was running from the devil in heartless in after hours at the end? ( you can see the devil wearing horns in the car) and he sings 'devil on my shoulder' in repeat after me and he sings his soul is burning because he sold it in escape from LA (thats only two lines but in the song but a clear message). Buts its also about Asphyxiation and his relationships. Abel purposely mixes up his lyrics, thats why u never fully understand what hes showing and saying.

@@jonathanturbide2232 thanks for agreeing with me, heres some more info if you want: in the official music video, at 1:54 theres red lights (the devil) on the left and blue lights( god) on the right. After the women puts the mask on him at 2:08 and later drags him on the floor, the red lights immediately turn blue and blue flashes in the room. This represents him trying to clear his soul (thats why he says 'take me to heaven.'') He did this in starboy too where the room is entirely blue and he uses a CROSS to destroy his awards because he did it with the devil.

There is nothing drug-oriented in the video. Those are oxygen cylinders. Unless you think inhaling oxygen qualifies as taking drugs I can't understand how you came to that conclusion. The song is called "Take My Breath." Its about a gal that , a relationship, that is so overwhelming to him (in a good way) it takes his breath away.

That’s not it. The song is about choking someone (kink). He literally says “her fantasy is okay with me, then suddenly, baby said take my breath away and make it last forever… nobody does it better”. There’s no love here, just pure sex and fetish. In the video he’s getting “high” on oxygen, not an actual drug tho, and choked nearly to death (read rest of lyrics). It’s pretty clear to me
