Has anyone noticed that these 2011 uploads sound a little different to the Spotify, Apple Music and 2012 versions? I have some experience with mixing and mastering music, so I noticed it immediately. I guess they were remastered to sound more clean for the 2012 Trilogy release. But, to me, these versions sound better. The slight uncleanliness of the original mixes gave the songs a more real, dark, edgy and raw tone, which is what The Weeknd was always about.
