This music brought him to fame and fortune for a reason - it was like nothing else out here. I hate being a hipster asshole, but it always makes a small piece of me die when I see a great artist get swallowed by the commercial music industry. The only artist I can think off the top of my head who has survived commercialism without suffering a huge loss in the quality of their music is Radiohead.
