I really wish I was in a position to be a Patreon and to buy a small piece of history from you, unfortunately I am not able to do either, but I will certainly be liking and sharing your videos, I am an absolute fanatic for history, especially the the early 1930s-1980s, my real interest is from pre WWII to the early post war and within that era I love everything military aviation. Thanks again for sharing your hard work, knowledge and understanding of your finds, I learn something new to learn in every episode. 😀👍🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Wow this is amazing. This generation needs to remember the history of the relics you find or we will repeat history. Remember we know not what weapons WW3 will be fought with but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones. May the great peace last for generation to generation and our children know not the fear or war. Love and light to all.

You are partially correct. They dumped their gear to move faster. The incriminating theory is wrong. My grand father was a Wehrmacht soldier and they tossed every but food. They literally threw weapons in the woods because they didn’t want a firefight. They just wanted to surrender

A little bit of history. My father grew up in Ludinghausen. Yes he was a German foot soldier, and so was his brother. My mom was born in Ulm. She lived with her step mom and dad. Her step dad worked as a train engineer, during and after the war. As for me, I went to cooking school in Bad Reichenhall back in 1977. Since retiring I bought a metal detector. It's a whites V3i. Top of the line. As for me I live in Jacksonville, FL. So I use my detector at the beaches. Alot of can tabs, enough to fill up a 55 gallon plastic garbage can. But my greatest finds were a Rolex Watch and a complete wedding set. His and hers, plus her very large engagement ring. The owners names were on the inside so I found them and called them. The husband was going to write a check, but I told him cash only. Checks bounce. So he gave me 10,000.00 dollars. That Rolex watch I still wear. Plus I found 2 gold coins, but they were not to old. My silver coin collection is about 40,000 coins. Plus normal old coins from the 40's and the way to the 2015. I don't go anymore since I lost my leg below my knee, plus my age. I just turned 63 and my back won't let me swing that detector. So I gave it to my daughter. She loves her new hobby. Love your videos

It looks like you have a trash dump. I have seen many of these in the western US, and they contain exactly this--bottles (usually broken, but some whole), broken dishes, tin cans, odds and ends of household and personal items, etc. One item to note, on the dates on the plates-- that's when they were made, not when they were dumped there. But you most certainly have a dump of some type of habitation, probably an army camp. Maybe a field kitchen, since there are so many broken dishes

A screen would be great for digging those dumps. I dig in a WII one near here. All the trash from downtown Honolulu during the War years. I've found some WWII American stuff, buttons, badges, coins. My only Indian Cent, 1889, 14kt wedding band. I get an attitude problem sometimes and want to dig older. I found a button of the Republic of Hawaii National Guard-c1895. It's a fun Hobby and I advertise the screens I make for diggers in American Digger. They are about 35x57 cm and 10cm deep, oak & stainless.
