could make that literal, imagine a hero finding a mirror that literaly measures their life, looks at everything they did...and more importantly everything they 'didnt' do...this mirror gives birth to a literal reflection, a doppleganger born from all those the hero failed to save because he chose not to do a thing chose not to be a place when he was needed chose the easy path rather then the right one a dark reflection there to remind, to point out, and to punish the hero for forgeting, its not the big choices that have the furthest reaching consiquences....its all the little ones, and how they add up over time...each tiny little thing...that scream he chose not to follow because 'there wasnt time' while he was on what he thought was an important quest, that notice on the board in town he chose not to take cause it seemed too simple or the reward wasnt enough, the bandints he didnt bother to clear out cause that was the gaurds job....
