Today we will cover the work of French aristocrat, cowboy and adventurer, Raymond Turenne, being his 1904 "The Last of the Mammoths", the story of a French painter, who fell in love with the daughter of an American millionaire, and who, in order to win her, goes off to the Pole in order to find a mammoth carcass, only to find a mammoth who is very much alive.
