I beat nosedive once, the way I did was by turning the engine off at the start and turning it back on when the drop ended. It’s pretty hard.

I can beat it regularly - just use the gears - 3rd or 4th and keep it around 120ish mpg

I've experimented with he track builder. It works good, but it's easy to looks the scale and creat a turn that's to narrow or two wide.

@@ahumanoid8079 You might have a problem with your game. It works fine for me, I play light runner quite often and it never had this issue pop up on me *after* resetting the car on the beginning of the track using numpad 0.

If you download the capsule bus mod, you can get a fourth powerglow vehicle. Doesn't really work on the tracks, but it's there.

Actually, the first game mode I played on beamNG was Light runner. it was hard,(keyboard control) but I thought it was fun to play. obviously, it's feature is only riding on tracks, but for my thought, it's kinda ok.

Light Runner mode was ambitious and extraordinary for it's time. I played on it in 2020, it still is timeless. Glad to know the mode still exists.

I have to say: I often used Track builder mode last year but then abandon it because nobody was actually speaking about it or posting stuff or mods in the forums or Reddit or anywhere else. I like the powerglows configs, for one of my movies I used the SBR4 powerglow for the main character. As for the light runner itself, I just used to start a race, but it is to hard so I never really finished a lap and afetr a lot of tries and days I never palyed there again. I don't have a single clue on what Devs are going to do with it, but I like the idea so I hope they keep it integrated well in the game

Also, Distance, the spiritual successor to Nitronic Rush by the same devs, got an update that reimagines the entirety of nitronic rush. Its a pretty awesome level pack, and certain stages are made more difficult to make nitronic rush play as a more difficult post-game to the main distance campaign

My only real complaint is that Beamng's visual engine and dark/night/anything to do with lights really don't mix well. With PBR maps and vehicles recently arriving, I am hoping for a proper lighting system revamp at some point, in which case this mode would look SIIIIICK. Honestly for me, a lighting update and an aerodynamics update are my two biggest wishlist items for Beamng.
