This was very interesting. I find all of the characters that McDonald's created in the 1970's to be very fun and creative. It was truly one of the greatest marketing campaigns ever. Very fascinating world that they created.

I noticed something interesting in this video, something I'm not sure you caught, but in that video you took in the past at 2:02, one of the Big Mac climbers (the one with the normal base and the stairs attached) has holes in the hat, but in your actual visit, the hat no longer has holes. Apparently at some point the owner decided to switch hats. 😂 For what it's worth, I liked the version with the holes more, since you could climb to the top and look out at the world below. The hole-less version was less interesting to climb to the top. That was actually my favorite equipment as a kid, though. I just liked climbing around the thing, just found it fun. Another of my favorite pieces of equipment was the Tug 'n Turn, which was a relatively plain-looking hamburger that you sat in, and used the wheel in the center to spin the burger around, which was a lot of fun! There was also a Hamburglar version of the spiral slide, which was identical to the Captain version, except with the Hamburglar at top instead of the Captain, and it was black and white instead of yellow and red. A few locations actually had both slides! The slides were fun!
