Exactly the psp was a hell of a handheld it was way ahead of its time imo I mean I used to play socom us navy seals online with a mic completely on battery and when I was done I could literally listen to thousands of songs I’d burned to it or watch a literal movie on it and Sony just does entertainment so good with how many controls you have in the UI they obviously didn’t own one and that’s why they don’t care total shame

Having won an Xbox Series S, after not gaming since the 360 days, I must say I'm thoroughly impressed personally speaking. I don't have a 4K TV either, so the drop in power compared to the Series X doesn't really bother me. Only downside, as you guys stated, is the small SSD from factory 🤘🏻

I'm glad Matt gave the SNES controller its proper due. It's so easy to relegate the 2D system controllers down just off recency bias, but that controller basically introduced the diamond action button layout, was the first I personally can remember with both L and R bumpers and the D-Pad was really good. It was the best controller of the 2D era imo and that gets at LEAST A-Tier or S-Tier with the caveat of being the S-Tier 2D system controller...not necessarily the S-Tier of all time...

I bought a 360 Elite because it matched my black PS3 and black Wii and was on sale for the same price as the non-Elite. Eventually, I bought the Halo 4 Limited Edition 360 Slim. It's still on a shelf connected to my TV and to this day my buddies and I will play it. The Duke is my favorite controller. It fits my arthritic hands so perfectly that I've bought two more from Hyperkin. The DualSense fits 2nd best and the XB1 controller takes the bronze. I actually prefer controllers that take AA batteries. Eneloop batteries are $20 for a 4 pack and will last for more than 10 years. I've yet to have a controller with a built-in battery that will last for more than 4 years of use since they don't have smart charging functionality. Batteries sold directly to consumers have to meet higher standards than batteries packaged as part of a product.

It’s not just that bud but also thw shit games that they are coming out with. And goypass is kinda hurting them if you think about it since most people on Xbox don’t buy games anymore unless they are on gamepass they won’t play them with is causing 3rd party developers to not want to port over games or if they do it’s a lesser version of the ps5 version. Xbox has bigger problems than the Xbox series s.

Microsoft has thought of this and just buys the developer and at some point will control their ecosystem.

My 2007 Xbox 360 did red ring and it got fixed by Microsoft and then never red ringed again and mine I know was a 2007 model as it did have the HDMI port as well. Although I was using the HD component cables that mine came with that could switch between HD or standard

Xbox live and PSN did a complete 180. Xbl was great during the 360 era but Xbl is so worse than PSN now. I sporadically play xbox and I always find bugs and down time. I purchased a game recently and it took 2 hours to deploy to my account. I use PSN a lot more and have never had an issue PS4 through to PS5.

The power a fusion is fire bc its cheap and the sticks dont get stick drift as fast the other pro controller. My elite got stick drift after a year and my scuff got it even faster even tho it was more expensive, i say that no controller should be over 100 bucks unless its guaranteed to last you a year or longer and that not even long if you ask me

Why does everyone say that the Xbox One sucked? Mine ran for like 8 years before I decided to get a Series X. It might not have had the same awesome library as the 360, but it has backwards compatibility with a lot of those games. My 360 had the red ring issue, my one X never had any hardware issues.

No way 7th gen is anywhere near S-Tier. The PS3 and PSP did not have much worth playing until 2009. Right around the same time that M$ decided it wanted to be a casual machine like the Wii. The Wii was absolutely flooded with shovelware and games with forced motion controls. The DS was really the only console that was good right away and kept getting better as the generation went on. On a side note, it was the absolute worst gen to be a fan of turn-based RPGs. While there was an abundance of great games on the handhelds, the home consoles had very slim pickins'. Outside of some fantastic stuff like Lost Odyssey, Valkyria Chronicles, and eventually Persona 5, most other titles were fairly meh.

Only someone that has short gaming sessions would rate the Dual Sense as S tier. Battery life too short and it’s not ergonomically designed in a way to prevent hand cramping. The dual sense also has a MASSIVE stick drift problem if you play stick intensive games like Returnal or Resogun or anything by Hiusemarque for that matter

A few of these were robbed. N64 - Looking back it’s not great but at the time it was the first controller designed around a 3d world. First console with analog input, to have rumble (with pack), and to provide a second stick for cameras. It’s a relic now and had flaws but its innovation alone makes it deserve higher. NES - they basically invented the dpad. Yeah I wouldn’t use it today but at the time that dpad was awesome vs the joysticks everyone else had. Dual shock 3 - this controller wasn’t innovative but should get a higher rating just because after the sixaxis launch controller it was so nice to get rumble back.

This! SNES for me is the best console of them all, it is still plugged in on my living room tv and i play it every now and then. Such good games which still hold up to this day (Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Terranigma, Super Mario World, Yoshis Island etc.)

This is good but it's not the experience most will have. The spatial video is awesome but not mind blowing and most people's brain won't make it feel the butterfly I'm sure some will share this but not most. For $3500 for the average middle class just isn't worth it even you can get something almost just as good for $500 to $650. 3d movies on the quest 3 are crystal clear. Far as sitting court side, you can already do that on the quest 2 and 3 and it's amazing. For example, you can watch a basketball game and sit right under the basket and move to center court in real time. To say you can't get the same experience in any other product is a gross exaggeration. I've used all 3. If you want to drop $1000 you can get everything the vision pro has and more with the quest pro. Using your PC with virtual desktop allows you to do things the vision pro can't as well like using your desktop like a touch screen without a physical keyboard or mouse but instead a virtual keyboard and your hand unless you prefer the physical stuff, then you can do that as well.

You can avoid those "massive issues" with the xbox 360 by opening it up and replacing/fixing the CPU heat sink IIRC the problem was they had the heat sink to close too the CPU causing it to overheat or some other type of painfully obvious design flaw that almost seemed as if it was done on purpose at least some conspiracy theorist believe that lol.

I loved my xbox 360. I think mine was the xbox elite. It was thought these wouldn't go through the rrod. It was out of warranty when it eventually rrod with three lights. I replaced my power brick to see if that was it. No luck. I think I could fix it now but I'm not sure if i'd want to put the effort in. I was so sad when it happened though. 😢 i was trying to get through the original Nier.

I love Austin and Matt, I love these channels, I am more team Xbox than anything else but can we stop pretending like every single Xbox elite (regardless of which version) isn’t so inherently flawed that most of them become unusable after minimal play compared to most other controllers. I had the elite 1 and 2 and both had stick drift that made them paperweights way faster than any other controller I have ever used.
