9:43 no, you do gain speed when you're backwards, but with the way the map was built you actually skipped the bw gear transition. In order to gain speed when that happens, you have to go under 100 speed and back, then you start gaining speed again

My theory for the air control bug: The car has no grip in air normally. With no grip the game logic might give you grip in air. No+No=Yes?

@@G0ADED What the fuck do I know, just a guess. Sliding forwards loses you speed. Sliding backwards gains speed. This game has logic that is like this, so that's what I'm thinking.

IMHO it was the easiest way to implement the no-grip effect. First: disable the grip on the car in the game logic Second: add a slight force forward The game is just not checking whether the car is on the ground or not so the force is applied in the air as well
