Honestly, Mappy's inclusion in Namco Museum Remix is enough for me to consider it as a really great compilation. Mappy is my favorite game of all time :)

It’s neat that Pac-Motos and Pac’n Roll Remix are going to be in the Pac-Man Museum Plus, those games are going to be preserved more. They’re also including most (but unfortunately not all) of the great Pac-Man games over the years so the collection looks like it’s going to be good. Also I personally grew up with Namco Museum Megamix so I had the larger selection of arcade games, but having remix is still better than nothing at least. Megamix and Namco Museum DS started my love for arcade games, so I’m glad they came out. Also hopefully I’m not annoying with all of these comments on one video, sorry if that’s the case.

12:02 I got the extended version who is "Namco Museum Megamix" who does have the Grobda remix, and Arcade games like the classic Pac-Man, the two Rally-X games, the original Galaga, Bosconian, Motos, Dig-Dug II, King & Balloon, and finally the original Grobda.

I have Megamix and it’s great! Obscure games like King & Balloon or Gaplus are pretty sweet! I actually love Super Pac-Man because of the speed increase from the super pellets, but Ms. Pac-Man is definitely my favorite! Great collection, great video! 👍🏻

What is your thoughts on Mappy? If you ask me, I feel every Namco Museum compilation should include Mappy as well. Mappy is a really great game in my opinion and it has one of the catchiest tunes in video game history. I always feel Mappy is really under-appreciated and should get more recognition.

The DS version of Pac N' Roll actually contains things the Remix version doesn't have, that being a story, cutscenes, and a different Final World in Ghost Land, rather than the Remix Final World, Golvis' Hideout.

Not sure if you've gotten the chance to play the original yet, but Pac-Man being in a ball form in Pac 'n Roll is actually justified by the plot, which was entirely cut from Remix. The game's main villain, Golvis, the king of Rock 'n Roll - gee, how subtle - turns all of the pac-people (and pac-dogs, apparently) into balls to prevent them from being able to fight back against him (and for kicks, probably). Remix is unfortunately missing a lot of other gameplay content too, outside of touch gimmicks - extra versions of the stages, one of the main worlds, and a bonus world. They did at least expand and redesign the last main world, which only had the last Golvis fight in the original, though the fight itself is much shorter and easier. The collection did get an updated version, too, Namco Museum Megamix, which has all of the content on top of doubling the amount of arcade games, adding in some classics like Bosconian, Dig Dug II, the original version of Rally-X (not sure why that wasn't included in the original either) and New Rally-X and... drum roll please... the original versions of Pac-Man and Galaga! Plus it even has a few more obscure ones, like King & Balloon, the original Motos, and Grobda. Oh, and Grobda got a remixed version too. EDIT: NVM you mentioned it :P

About Starfox Zero, it’s definitely bad as a single player game and it doesn’t live up to the highs of games like the original, 2, and 64, but I enjoyed playing Zero with a friend in the two player mode. It’s still not amazing but if you have another person to play it with that’s willing to give it a shot then I’d say it can make for a decent afternoon.

It's really strange that that Galaga remix is a completely different game from the Galaga Remix in the Namco Museum Battle Collection for the PSP, and it doesn't resemble Galaxian at all either. Galaxian was very similar to its sequel, Galaga, only with simpler enemy patterns and without the ship rescue mechanic. In any case, it's more similar to Starblade or the Galaga 3D Impact that later came out for the 3DS... But protecting a rolling Pac-Man in the background... For some reason 😅.

I have owned both versions of this game and I'm sure Pacman the arcade game is unlockable but its been a while since I did it and they did have miss Pacman and Pacman in the megamix version if I'm not mistaken this small collection made me a permanent fan of Pacman without question unfortunately sonic did not do that for Wii wish they did or I would have been a huge fan of the games way sooner also Pacman and Galaga remix versions are my favorite games on here and I disagree Galaga on world 2 and mainly 3 got so awesome
