Risk of Rain 2, is the best rougelike ive ever played. You feel like a god in long runs. However the first run is not going to feel good, cus it is so difficult. But once you put some hours into it, and learn it, damn it slaps

My recommendation: Wizard of Legend. Its inexpensive and on steam. Not hard to understand but it takes some time to complete it. Would love to see you try it!

If you want another weird unnapreciated roguelike, look into A Robot Named Fight. It's metroid but roguelike and somehow captures the gamefeel of a metroidvania perfectly while being a roguelike which is honestly insane from a technical standpoint.
