So I think the main purpose of the chainmail glove is to simply dampen the damage that you do to your hands in case of an accident. There are a couple of problems though. If you've got more than 3 brain cells, you won't have your hands near the blade of the chainsaw while in motion as one hand is on the handle with the trigger, and the other on the handle on top, and with the way chainsaws work, you'll be far more likely to accidentally run the blade somewhere on your leg while cutting wood or other materials.

Plus, just like you keep jewelry (especially metal bracelets, necklaces, etc) away from power equipment due to potential for it catching and pulling in, you really should not wear a chainmail glove while using a chainsaw. You may not get a cut initially, but it could very well destroy your hand when the teeth grab it, just like the video shows

@@CaraiCuebiyar Destroy the hand? Nah. If there was an accident somehow and the blade of the chainsaw happened to catch my hand, I would much rather have the glove than not. The damage with a glove is likely my hand getting pinched real bad, needing a few stitches, and giving my hand a break. The damage without could very well be losing my hand or at the very least some fingers. This glove is likely more for food slicers or operating other kinds of stationary blades though. For chainsaw safety you'd be better off wearing some chainsaw rated chaps.

I wear a chainmail glove on the daily. I must say the only thought on it: It will protect you from cut injury to an extent. Now consider the forces applied to the wrist/hand bones. It will end badly either way. I think at the least a broken wrist and several fractures on your hand. No expert I just cut every single day with a glove on, and will not use a saw or other piece of equipment with that on. It also creates a grip hazard as well. not sure how many people have actually tried using one of those or not, quite painful to start especially on the cheaper ones. on average the better ones from Whiting and Davis are around $150.00USD and fit a little better then the knockoffs. Another side note, sometimes the seller on scamazon will list it as a "Chainmail" glove when in fact it is a woven mesh wire, not real chainmail, Worthless if you ask me.

Chainsaws are used in meat packing houses to cut up the meat. Typically the chain mail gloves are used in fish and meat cutting facilities. Before their use became common place, you could often tell a butcher by his missing fingers. That fan is quite useful to circulate the air and heat in a house, especially in winter.

The can press is nice, but here in the Netherlands we have cans with a deposit, so they are returned to the store just like bottles and beer crates and then you get money back. I think the projector would be nice if it is possible to connect external speakers. Great for a garden party.
